What Are Ticings®? |
Ticings are thin sheets of frosting printed with our unique, contemporary designs. They apply to soft-frosted cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, and other soft-frosted items to decorate with a professional finish—quickly and effortlessly. Sold in pre-printed designs for retail or foodservice, they peel & press onto the tops and/or sides of almost any flat-frosted surface. Our unique print technique allows for dot-free, crisp images with fine detail. Ticings merge with your frosting, so the only thing you taste is the base onto which Ticings are applied. |

How Are Ticings Applied? |
With dry hands, gently peel one Ticings round or sheet from its backing. Help loosen them from the clear base sheet by pulling the backing sheet against the sharp edge of a table. If ambient humidity is very high, you may freeze the sheets for up a 30 seconds to easily release the circles or rectangle off the sheet. Center the individual round or sheet above your dessert and place onto the frosted surface, pressing down to smooth the Ticings from center outward. Make sure that your Ticings makes complete contact with the frosted surface. Let the finished product rest in a lightly covered container for approximately 30 minutes to meld the Ticings with your frosting, then serve or store until ready to eat. Can You Custom Print My Design? |
Yes! Ticings proprietary print process ensures fine details and dot-free imagery with low minimums. We can also offer high volume for foodservice and private label. Please allow a minimum of 3-5 days for single sheet orders. |
Do Ticings Require Refrigeration? |
No, Ticings don't need to be refrigerated before application. Keep unused Ticings sealed in their original packaging with minimum exposure to air to maximize shelf life of 6-12 months depending on ambient temperature and exposure. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading. |
How Long Will They Last? |
We recommend using them within the first few months of purchase, but they will remain fresh 6-12 months when properly stored at 70-77° with a maximum humidity level of 55%. |
What Type of Frosting Should I Use? |
Fresh buttercream frosting works best, but cream cheese or canned frosting may also be used. For sugar cookies, use buttercream or royal icing. For royal icing on sugar cookies, allow frosting to dry flat, then spread a small bit of corn syrup or decorator's gel onto the back of the Ticings and gently adhere to the surface of the royal icing. May I Return My Order? |
We take pride in our products but cannot accept returns due to health reasons. We will replace any product that arrives damaged to your original shipping address, and require that you contact us within seven days of receiving a damaged order. Please forward photos of the damaged merchandise tosupport@ticings.com, and also send a claim directly to the shipper. We are not responsible for products that are returned due to a wrong address, returned as undeliverable, or forwarded from the first delivery attempt.
